Make up ist für mich ein großes Thema und ich liebe es mich zu schminken und neue Styles auszuprobieren. Wenn ich in der Parfümerie stehe, mich diese wunderschönen Lippenstiftfarben anstrahlen und die schimmernden Lidschatten und Highlighter nach mir schreien, ist es um mich geschehen. So stapeln sich in meinem Bad Lidschatten- und Rougepaletten, Lippenstifte, Nagellacke und Pinsel. Vielleicht habe ich meinen Beruf verfehlt und ich hätte Make up Artistin werden sollen. Ein zweites Geständnis muss ich auch ablegen, und zwar dass ich ein großer Gwen Stefani Fan seit meinem elften Lebensjahr bin und ich habe „Don´t speak“ in und auswendig gekonnt und lauthals mitgesungen. Aber auch ihren Stil und ihren Werdegang als Einzelinterpretin habe ich voller Enthusiasmus verfolgt. So kam es auch dazu, dass meine Haarfarbe je nach Laune von flamingo pink, zu poppy red und pastell pink wechselte. Mein Kleidungsstil war mit 15 auch eher ausgefallen und experimentierfreudig. Herrlich, ich lache heute noch herzlich über meine damaligen Styling Versuche.  Ein Urban Decay Fan bin ich seitdem ich das erste Produkt in meiner Hand gehalten habe und jetzt kommt alles zusammen. Also könnt ihr euch ungefähr vorstellen wie happy ich war als ich die neue Gwen Stefani Kollektion mit Urban Decay vor Augen hatte. Nach der schon gelaunchten Lidschattenpalette kommen nun auch eine Rougepalette, Augenbrauenpuder Set, Lippenstifte und Lipliner in leuchtenden Farben in die Läden. Ich hab schon einmal vorab ein bisschen herumprobiert und bin begeistert. Die Textur des Lippenstiftes und Liners ist super weich, extrem langanhaltend und deckend. Die Namen wie Rock Steady und Ex-Girlfriend erinnern an ihre Hits und passen perfekt zu dem Look der extravagenten Sängerin. Die Lidschattenfarben sind sehr hochpigmentiert und die Palette beinhaltet sowohl schimmernde als auch matte Töne von beige bis tiefschwarz. Perfekt für einen soften Tageslook aber auch einen dramatischen Smokey-eye Look für abends. Von der Rougepalette möcht ich gar nicht anfangen zu schwärmen 😀 Oder doch! Also..Cherry, Angel und Lo-Fi sind meine neuen Freunde wenn´s ums Highlighten und Konturieren geht. Ich bin auf jeden Fall sehr begeistert und ein paar Komplimente hab ich für mein Make up in letzter Zeit auch bekommen, also scheint es gut anzukommen 🙂

Make up is a huge topic for me because i love what you can do with it and when i see sparkling eye-shadows and dazzling lipstick colors my brain suspends and i have to try them. That´s the reason why my bathroom is full of eye-shadow palettes, lipsticks in all colors nail polish in beautiful bottles and brushes to apply my make up. Maybe i have the wrong job! My second confession is that i´m a big fan of Gwen Stefani since i was 11, i knew her lyrics and i was rehearsing in my room, singing to her latest hits. My hair color was constantly changing from poppy red to flamingo and pastel pink. So was my style, i was very eager to try new outfits and combinations. Thirdly i am in love with Urban Decay products the second i held my first haul in hands. So it´s obvious that i was super excited when i first heard about that Gwen Stefani designed a make up collection with Urban Decay. After the recently launched eye-shadow palette, a blush palette, an eye brow kit and some awesome lipsticks and lip liners are following now. I was lucky that i could try them a little bit sooner and i honestly have to say i´m impressed. The colors are highly pigmented, sparkling and long lasting. As well as the lipsticks and liners. They give a super smooth and soft feeling, and they come in amazing colors in the names: Rock steady and Ex-girlfriend which remind us of Gwen Stefani´s best songs and give the whole collection a very personal touch. I don´t doubt that she would wear those colors all herself. My current favorites of the rouge palette are called Cherry, Angel and Lo-fi my perfect match for contouring, highlighting and blush. I am officially hooked and i got some compliments for my latest make up looks so i guess it works 😉
